Mike Ballard has thirty years of experience in corporate strategy and all facets of real estate operations including entitlement, acquisitions, development, renovation, disposition, property management and finance. Ballard is currently involved in the development of more than $100 million of multifamily or mixed-use real estate in California, Nevada and Utah. In addition, Ballard is Managing Director at Sixty West Funds, along with being a partner at Ascent Multifamily Accounting where he leads the firm’s consulting practice.

 

Active in the local real estate industry, Ballard is responsible for establishing some of Las Vegas’ most successful and longstanding real estate organizations, including the Lied Institute for Real Estate Studies at the University of Nevada – Las Vegas, the National Association of Industrial and Office Properties (NAIOP) and the Construction and Financial Management Association chapters. In addition, Ballard has helped start three banks throughout the western US and served on the board of Black Mountain Community Bank.
