Tom Wucherer

Master Planning, Design & Architecture

 

Tom Wucherer has more than 30 years of experience in the design and development of projects focused on leisure-related hospitality, gaming, mixed-use, retail, dining and entertainment projects. 

 

Prior to co-founding Strada LV, Wucherer was a founding member in 2001 of YWS Architects and later YWS International where he collaborated on numerous leisure and resort projects throughout the world including projects in China, Macau, Sri Lanka, New Zealand, Australia, Singapore and, of course, the US. 

 

Prior to YWS, Wucherer spent 13 years at Las Vegas-based design-build firm Marnell-Corrao Associates, where he was vice president of architecture and information technology. 

Local projects completed include:
 

  • Las Vegas, NV:  Rio Hotel Casino – Phase 1, 424 all-suite guest rooms plus ~100,000 sf podium

  • Las Vegas, NV:  Treasure Island – 3,000 guest rooms plus ~ 500,000 sf podium

  • Las Vegas, NV:  Bellagio Hotel and Casino – 3,000 guest rooms plus ~4.2m sf podium

  • Las Vegas, NV:  Hakkasan Nightclut at MGM – 120,000 sf nightclub

  • Las Vegas, NV:  TopGolf at MGM – 120,000 sf entertainment facility

  • Las Vegas, NV:  Allied Esports Arena at Luxor – 30,000 sf esports venue

  • Plus a myriad of other restaurants, hotel renovations, retail shopping centers, spas, nightclubs and other venues. 


Wucherer graduated magna cum laude with a Master of Architecture degree, specializing in information technology, from California Polytechnic State University, and is also a former key member of the Tririga software development team where he co-authored various patents (now assigned to IBM) and holds a NCARB certificate, and is a LEED-certified, licensed architect in Nevada and multiple states throughout the country.
